Every piece in The Mill Collection begins on our 22 acres in Vernon, Connecticut — where we grow, harvest, and mill our own timber using a sawmill built right here on the farm.

These are not mass-produced frames or furniture. Each piece is one-of-a-kind, carrying the natural character of the tree it came from — the grain, the knots, the history written in every ring.

🔥 Born from Fire — Live Edge Frames

In October 2024, a forest fire swept through Balsam Ridge Farm. Rather than let those trees disappear into the earth, we milled them, dried them in our solar kiln, and gave them a second life as handcrafted live edge frames. The saw marks and fire burns you see are not flaws — they are the story.

Each frame is one-of-a-kind and includes a provenance story permanently integrated into the back — the age of the tree, the fire, the mill marks, the history. A piece of Connecticut that will outlast us all.
